Chicken Like No Other Raised on lush, forage rich pastures
Within a few hours of hatching, our chickens begin their lives on our farm in a warm, dry, protected "brooder barn". In a few short weeks, they are strong enough to live the rest of their lives outdoors on pasture.
Once out to pasture, we move their shelters every morning. This daily movement evenly distributes their manure across the fields and keeps them in a clean setting at all times. All of this movement, sunshine and forage produces a chicken that is firmer in texture and far more flavorful.
It is perfectly legal to pack 30,000 chickens in a barn, open a few tiny doors and call it "Free-Range". Even worse: if that barn has open land around it, the chicken can be called "Pasture-Raised". Take 30seconds to watch our video below. This is what you should expect. This is what you get from our family.
