    The phrase "pasture-raised" on eggs in stores is meaningless.  There is no regulation to use the phrase, so it is perfectly legal to cram 50,000 hens in a barn, leave some doors open to a dirt yard --- and voila --- "pasture-raised. 

When we say pasture-raised, we mean fully mobile coops that travel through the land to bring hens to clean, abundant forage every day.   This video below shows how we do it
