A hen begins laying eggs when she's about 6months old.  The first 3-4 eggs she produces are what we call Golden Eggs. They are tiny, but they are the finest tasting eggs a hen will ever lay.  

PRO TIP - these are a treat. 

Do not buy this IN PLACE of your regular eggs.
