A Better Bacon Burger

Erin and I came up with this recipe as we were experimenting with ways to streamline the cooking process of the perfect burger. Cooking a burger, then frying bacon separately means more steps and more to clean up. This brings many layers of flavor together with consistent results and a "phenomenal" end result! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- (2) Ground Beef
- (1/4 lb) Smoked Pork Jowl
- (3/4 cup) Onion - chopped fine
- (1 teaspoon) Salt
- (1 teaspoon) Pepper - grind fresh
- (1 teaspoon) Garlic Powder
